I had a great experience with my colonoscopy procedure. Dr. Mehta was awesome. He asked the relevant questions during my consultation visit and came up with the proper diagnosis. On the day of the procedure, the entire medical team was great. The nurses on duty and the anesthesiologist team were wonderful, courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Mehta came to talk to me before the procedure, explained what would happen. After the procedure Dr. Mehta came to share the outcome of the procedure which was a big relieve. The afternoon of the procedure and the day after, both Dr. Mehta's office and the nurse station in the hospital call to check on me, I greatly appreciated that.
My only bad experience was during the scheduling of the procedure after it was determined that the procedure should be done. The scheduling person (Ms Bree) needs to be trained or retrained otherwise she will tarnish the wonderful work this clinic is doing. For 10 straight business days I called twice a day to try to schedule my procedure. Bree would not pickup the phone and she would not return my voice messages. Because I had a time constraint due to an upcoming international trip, I needed to be scheduled in as soon as possible. Frustrated, I scheduled a consultation visit with another practitioner. It took two weeks for Bree (Dr. Mehta's procedure scheduler) to finally call me and schedule my procedure. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated in any medical institution.
I still gave a 5 stars rating because I don't want to penalize the entire practice because of one bad apple, but truth needs to be told.

I had to go to the hospital one evening for what turned out to be a superficially torn esophagus. I was held for observation until the next day when I met Dr. Rajesh Mehta.
Dr. Mehta carefully listened to my story and clearly described what he’d like to do next. His explanation included the options he was considering and why he chose the one he picked. Dr. Mehta made it a point to reassure me that I was going to be just fine and that I needn’t worry. This was very comforting given all that had happened the night before.
I came in for an endoscopy once my esophagus had healed enough to allow a scope. Pre-procedure Dr. Mehta and I spoke, and again he was very reassuring. He helped me feel comfortable with the procedure, explained what they were going to do and what they were looking for.
Over the telemedicine follow-up Dr. Mehta and I discussed the results and his recommendations. He listened and answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
The only feedback I have is on the technology of the telemedicine setup. As someone that’s curious about the details I would have liked it if the system allowed Dr. Mehta to bring up the imaging and carefully walk me through his findings. While I did receive the images directly after the endoscopy, it’s not the same as when an expert can point directly to certain features and explain what he’s seeing.
